Tapeworming Service
If you’re taking a short trip and you want to make the most of your time in Europe, then arrange an appointment for your dog’s tapeworm treatment just before you leave the UK.
Dogs entering the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta, Finland & Norway must have a tapeworm treatment administered by a veterinary surgeon at least 24 hours before entry.
Abbeywell Vets is located in Folkestone, just minutes away from the Eurotunnel Terminal and not too far from the Ferry Port in Dover. Having the tapeworm treatment administered immediately before you depart means you can benefit from extra time on the continent and not worry about trying to arrange an appointment with a vet in the EU.
The Tapeworming service is available to anyone travelling with their dog. Whether you have your own travel documents or if we are providing you with an AHC, simply use the online booking service to schedule a convenient appointment with one of the vets.
